I've eaten at Alinea, it was the most expensive meal I've ever had lol.

if i was in bangkok i'd try out some of the fancy places there, more affordable than the US for sure but still a long wait.

Alinea was an experience for sure, a relative was a somm'y there at the time so it spurred us to try it.

My wife is friends with Grant Achatz' x wife, that lady is also friends with Thomas Keller and I think she even worked there for a while. I think it's a very different high end experience per my brother in law.

When we went to San Francisco for the Metallica S&M 2 concert in Sep 2019, I looked at going here, there were reservations available.

I'm not much of an adventurous eater or foodie, but I was trying to find something different for the wife and I do while we were in the area. I suggested going here, she was hesitant so I didn't book it. A few days later she was talking to her boss and he went on and on about how great it was and we should do it, but by that time reservations were gone. So I almost went there...
