300 for the day , and pretty much its on you to make sure your car is ready to be on the track

Which car? Your ST?

See if you can get ahold of a tech form to self tech before showing up. Should show you what they require.

For an HPDE, I don't think its going to be much more than a car in good running order with no leaks, fresh brakes, fresh fluids, good tires, a helmet, and no loose nut behind the wheel.

Do you have a cage? That can change the safety requirements for harnesses and such. Best to call them up and ask. If you can get a tech form, that should show you almost everything you need.

Most HPDE will check the following.

• Fluids must be fresh
• Brakes must be in good shape, no cracking or warping. Cheap slotted/drilled are kind of no-no as they are more likely to fail when pushed.
• Tires shouldn't be worn beyond wear indicators.
• No leaks or loose/hanging items under the car.
• Centercaps should be removed unless they can only come out if pushed from behind. Aka, anything that covers the lugs needs to come off.
• Helmet should be current.
• Seat belts should be in good repair, no tears, retractors should be working correctly.
• Remove all loose items in the car, floor mats and the like.
• Battery should be secured and positve cable is covered.
• Brake lights must be functioning.

I'm sure there is more, but the general rule is your car should be in good running order.

i'm not sure of all the ones in this area, except one i do know for sure is driver and instructor have to be matching if you're in a class that requires one. so you can't have something like a race seat and harness while the instructor has a regular seat and belt.
