First off no driveway pics or garage pics. Lol short story about my journey with this ordering process I ordered the GT500 11/29 which is my retail order number 1129. Right before and after I ordered the 22 my owner offered me the 21 GT500 in white off the showroom. I’m thinking in my head u already have a white 21 gt500 CFTP I don’t want to be almost twins plus it’s late NOV why would buy it tow it to the garage and sit till March-April. A 22 Gt500 was only $3000 more and newer and I can have it by me thinking early spring, boy was I wrong this whole ford ordering system is all messed up due to shortages. First I ordered code orange black roof, black stripes, tech and carbon pkg then later on I removed the black roof. By April-may the itch was bad and I almost bought a new new zl1 camaro and this damn cars & bids and BAT did not help the ITCH I probably bid on 5 cars but this market on used is stupid and I didn’t want to over pay. I just told myself be patient it will be worth it to get new instead of used and not over pay. My buddy ordered a grabber blue Mach E from me and I fell in love with the color having a metallic flake in the sun after seeing it in person and after a week or two I changed it. Patiently waiting I even downloaded the ford tracker app and that is off according to guys on the gt500 forum some were saying guys waited months after the car was built to take delivery I guess there is a shortage of truckers and rail employees and I’m thinking in my head my GT500 won’t come till October. No big deal I’ve waited this long I’ll wait it out nothing I can do but check everyday. My car is finally scheduled for July then that changed to early august and changed again finally it was built 8/10 finished 8/11 and shipped from FlatRock, Michigan on 8/15 and arrived 8/16 right around 12 :30 pm. But hold up wait a minute that morning at 10 am I go on FORD vehicle visibility the ETA says September 15th my heart stopped for a second and I was disgusted by this process but nothing I can do FUCCCKK. My phone starts blowing up around 12:30 that afternoon from my employees your car is here I’m like GTFO sure as shit it was in and this ford tracking system is complete garbage.
Here she is I couldn’t be happier with the color and options I went with 22 Shelby GT500 #2030 in grabber blue, tech pkg, carbon pkg , black stripes and car cover.

20% all around except 50% on the windshield
As you can see no front splitter I waited till my splitter extenders came in and gurley flap to install the splitter I saved $2000 by not getting the track package. Which includes the extenders, gurley flap and catch cans. I ordered the flap and extenders thru parts for $520 with my discount and used my ford pass points it came out to $120 out of pocket. Winning

First fill up. I never forget where I started and let the porter drive it to the gas station with me of course. He kept thanking me and all I said to myself, I was once him and seeing him happy put a tear in my eye. He is a really good kid.
