Episodes on IMDB rate mid/high 8s on all episodes, which is pretty good.

A young chef from the fine dining world returns to Chicago to run his family's sandwich shop.

Was scrolling through Hulu this weekend and caught the description for this show and decided to give it a shot. Watched 4 episodes so far and I like it. I'm curious as to where the show will go beyond 2-3 seasons. but so far I like it.

Staring Jeremy Allen White from Shameless fame. He must REALLY love Chicago, because this is the 2nd Chicago based show he's in.

And both seasons done. I was worried that s2 was going to take a more comedic direction based on the first two episodes but then it just gradually mixed in some serious shit and themes and just brilliant writing and character development. I think it was near flawless overall.

Was absolutely awesome to see the cast grow, Cousin especially. It's rare to see the main character not get constant screen time but it works so well in this because everyone around him is growing both because and in spite of him. Can't wait for s3.

Wrapped this season. I'll say it's a lot of character building and history of said characters. Not too much main/current plot, but I'm hopeful Season 4 will bring back what we're used to.

This season was not my favorite. It seems to have fallen into the same trap a lot of shows fall into now of this would be great stuff if they had a full normal (20+) episode season. Without that it bounced around way too much and never came together really. For example, how long have they been trying that new format? How long has it been for Sid to sign the contract, OR do the other thing? You keep going back and forth in time which is fine, but you dont really get a sense of time passing on the main story. Could be months, could be days, who knows.

Still a great show, and had some really good moments, but now we have to wait a year to see this "season" take off.

Dude this is fucking terrible. What made this show good was the dialog and character interactions. I feel like I'm watching some cooking show on YT with the music just repeating over and over.

Who TF thought this was a good idea?
