This is the teardown of that Baja 1000 prototype cybertruck where they found mud would clog the drain holes in the rear megacasting. They have since enlarged the holes to reduce the chances of this.
Not entirely true. There is a ā€œcar washā€ mode that you need to use. But that still doesn’t guarantee you won’t void the warranty šŸ˜‚
Yea no, all car wash mode does is turn off the wipers and charge port door motor so they don’t operate in a car wash. They are just saying any damage from a car wash due to the brushes ripping off the wiper arm or charge door isn’t covered under warranty. There’s nothing a car wash does with water that wouldn’t happen just driving down the road in a rain storm.

Tesla uses the Union Pacific/toyota yard here in West Chicago is as rail distribution point, so I've been seeing more and more of these coming out on trucks.

The more I see them, the more I just see them as an answer to a question no one asked.
