So it's mounted to the strut tower? Not sure the issue.

That interior though. That looks like one of my wooden go karts from when I was 11.

People so worked up about the wiper blade. First off, you only need to buy one, so even if it’s double the price of a normal blade, so what? You’re in the same place you were before. I was also reading something somebody said earlier alluding to Tesla being like apple with ridiculous prices for stuff. Tesla parts are actually surprisingly cheap. I’m having a 12v battery put in by mobile service and the total bill is $120. There is likely no dealership in the US that you could go to and get a cheaper battery installed. And, you’d have to drive there and waste your time. A cabin filter is $17. They will drive to your house and install it for $35. Again, no dealership could possibly match that. Even buying a whole car, they are cheaper than the competition and besides picking 2wd, awd, or performance the vehicles come fully loaded with all options (besides colors). So when you see a price, that’s the real price- not a rubber floor, crank window model with a radio screen the size of a post it note. So yea, they don’t have unreasonable prices at all.

We're making fun of it because on such a high dollar vehicle, they could've done a better job to conceal/protect it. At that size, it's going to get snagged on everything which could result in it getting ripped off.

They'll throw in a squeegee from the closest gas station to help with cleaning the window. Like they offered a rebranded "pinchie" wand to those in the UK :ROFLMAO:

You've brought up an interesting thing here, I think the Apple comparison is on point in way but not this way. Most here perceive cars as well, cars. Perceive it as a person who drives an appliance. The Tesla is the ultimate in that regard, it's like a fucking cell phone. By and large a vehicle for people who perceive driving as a chore, and want something that simply goes, is quiet and doesn't involve having smelly things like petroleum based fluids or coolant that needs service fairly often.

Also, the fact that they have done their best to eschew the traditional dealer model probably helps them too. A lot of people my self included hate dealerships overall. Some of them can be okay, many if not most suck to deal with.

this is the most accurate part of your statement. The vehicle being defined by software is the thing that Tesla did first and is still the best at, no question. You get updates that install themselves and all of a sudden you have new features that didn’t exist when you bought the car. And best part? They are FREE. Do you know how much a navigation software costs on a GM vehicle? Hundreds of dollars. It’s complete bullshit. Nobody ever made a car like this before and a lot of people like having something like that.

As far as “only people who see driving as a chore like teslas”, I don’t really agree. If it were like a Nissan leaf maybe, but teslas are widely regarded as fast cars and though they don’t have handling like a Porsche, they definitely handle better than the average sedan or CUV. The ultimate ideal setup in my mind is of course a Tesla as a DD, and some ridiculous unreliable, fuel guzzling, loud ass car for cruising when it’s nice outside.

Video of one after being tested for rollover crash. I guess Tesla wasn't happy that this video leaked.

It flattened the roof some, which actually helps it's looks a little...
