Yes, some are dumber then rocks and others are high disciplined. The teacher will only allow certain students to perform task. The girl that does most of my aluminum work looks more like she should be a cheerleader. But she does some of the best aluminum welding I have ever scene. In a town like indy their are good weld shops and there is some scary weld shops. I work as a mustang tech part time at a race shop. We had a few cars come in from a local weld shop that did cages. None of the bars on top near the headlinder had any welding done. So then we cut a tube and found they were using a thinner DOM then legal spec.

LOl thanks steve....
PS- if anyone needs ANY type of welding done, give Steve a call! AKA Gimpy

here are some pics of the cage, subframe connectors, and engine compartment
We are going to have to modify the kit a little bit cause the main hoop doesnt want to sit on the connectors, but it will be stronger now after the modification

ya i know the feeling! i just picked up my RX7 and there are a few things i wana fix bc i wana drive it. the fox should be SICK though! i have seen the car in STC and its def clean!

thanks man! ya i used to use this car as my dd and it saw a lot of time on the roads around STC, but in my opinion it looked good from far, but was far from good looking ;)
New paint fixed all those issues now :dancenana:

And the welder works great! just have to have gimpy teach me how to weld properly
