What are you doing for pcv setup?
Valve cover and PCV going to a Motion Race Works catch can. It was going where the charcoal canister was. I had that bracket powdercoated too. But the blower spoiled that idea. I may be able move it forward on the frame rail but I'm gonna wait till I get the core support in, radiator and fan to see what kind of room I have. Otherwise it'll go driver's side frame rail.

Garage TV is key. You can use it to cast all of the LMR how to install videos.

Looking good Steve! That reminds me I need to order a dipstick for my pile of scrap.
Landan can be helpful. PJ just made sense I can be more productive on the car while I have my favorite ROM COMS playing on the TV.

Par for the course with me things are slow going. I work 6 days a week and a lot of hours so I lack motivation when I do have time for this pile. Anyway I figured I'd put something on the car instead of removing tonight. Factory steering rack was black from years of road grime. I cleaned it the best I could. I added stainless steel hardlines and equalizer tube. Specific stainless steel German rack boot clamps. Painted the inner tie rod ends. If I get wild I'll throw all the MM front suspension in this week...or next month... 🤭

I'm still grinding on this damn rear as well to get ready for paint. Should've just ordered a Fab 9" already powdercoated 😓

Nothing too exciting but I got a lot done on more bitch work this weekend. The main reason I pulled the rear was to clean up the underside. And since it's getting new brake lines and fuel lines etc it just made sense to do it now. This car had the most intense undercoating I've ever seen. If you look in the first post in the thread of the engine bay even the underhood inner fenders and firewall were covered in it. BUT this car was some guys daily before I owned it. It's super solid and was well protected but it's still a shitbox Fox from Illinois. There were little spots of surface corrosion here and there or bare spots. It's bothered me forever so I had to clean it up. One day it'll get restored and painted Calypso underneath too but for now I wire wheeled or Scotch Brite cleaned any offending areas.

Painted with rust converter paint then epoxy semi gloss black. I really don't want to add more undercoating over the paint. I spent way too many hours cleaning the rear but painting has started as well on that. The rear rotors are basically new but flash rusted from lack of use 🤔 gave them an Evaporust bath and good as new. Parts will be going back on the car SOON and hopefully on four wheels again in the near future. Jeffs FRC Jeffs FRC has no faith in me on getting this car "doneish" this year and said maybe by 2028. My feelings were hurt. My Cobra got shit on by a bird sitting outside. Definitely not leaving the garage anymore so I added a pic for posterity.

Looking back at my setup now that I got my valve covers and trying to decide to go get the fancy motion bolt on breather vents with baffle or not. Are you just running an hose from that 3/8 (or 1/4") nipple on the oil fill to a catch can, then how are you doing rear PCV to catch can? Do they make push in breather to an fitting?

Yup, just plan on running hose from oil fill port nipple and a hose from the factory PCV to the breather tank. Hopefully it won't be sucking a ton of oil. But going in that tank is better than the intake tract. And breathers on the valve covers are a crap shoot, I'm not interested in oil mist all over my goods. I have them on my Cobra for simplicity sake when I got the car done (so far so good) but will do a breather tank setup someday. I also don't drive that car so it stays clean lol
