Yeah any vehicle with 150k+ miles driven in the snow and salt yearly is going to be a rusty mess and only worth it if it was dirt cheap. My Camaro I recently sold had 158k and driven in all weather and was rusty as fuck and sold it cheap. My grandfathers 2001 caprice that is in Florida has the same mileage and not a spot of rust on it!
Yes on plates, no on insurance. I email/text my insurance agent and let them know what I’ve done. She also informed me I was covered under my policy for a while (a month maybe?)
I’ve never had an issue driving around without plates and a bill of sale will fix it if you did get pulled over.

I’d say 200k is just fine engine wise. Being this body style it’s got a 4l65 which isn’t known to be the strongest but taken care of it shouldn’t be an issue plus I feel like if it’s gone that far, it’s fine

I went down to Texas with a buddy to buy a Trans Am he told insurance he was buying a car and gave them the VIN number. We drove back with the previous owners plates and he mailed them back to him. Probably more illigal than driving with none but at least we didn't bring attention to ourselves.

Apparently this guy bought this two months ago, drove 6500 miles to Mexico and back and now selling it.
That looks legit to me but worth running vin and checking out trans fluid. Also make sure 4wd works.
