in my brief experience looking at solar stuff, i feel like that small of a setup won't power all of that? and only having one battery $250 won't give you much capacity?

There'd actually be two batteries. I didn't clarify, was going to use the boat's original battery and add a second one for the heavy consumers. The panel I was looking at was 265 watts. I did the math which I don't remember the exact numbers at the moment, but energy consumption (~160watts?) per hour was much lower than solar energy received. So I wouldn't necessarily be using the panels to power the electronics, but moreso to recharge the batteries as needed. Charge controller obviously prevents overcharging.
