I have a samsung Q8, more pricey than what you want but it’s an amazing tv. Just saying the Q series is awesome.

Yeah, went in with the Q60R in mind, left with a Q70R because edge lit vs array lighting. God damn, I barely watch TV and I can see the massive difference from the Westinghouse that died.

Went with 55” and it’s perfect for how I have the room set up.

My 2017 P607 just shit the bed (I think it's fixable but downtime to fix was not an acceptable course in this house) so I picked up the successor $499 P615 55-inch from Best Buy. I didn't buy an extended warranty with the P607, and the 1-year warranty was long gone. It was my second P607, too, after the first one had issues out of the box. Anyway, I went with the P615 because it was $100 off, and the Best Buy 5-year extended warranty was $100. My wife is still scratching her head as to why I went with another TCL, but we both agreed the ease of Roku TV is worth it, and the image is as good as TV's twice its price, so I think I'm still ahead of the game having bought two  We'll see how this goes. It seems a few image issues were fixed for the P615, too. And if I tear apart the P607 and replaced boards and see what happens, then I'll stick it in the basement where I currently don't have a TV.
