Not trying to give you an out but there is always riding along... Plenty of fun to be had from the passenger seat and as a driver I know its nice to have a co pilot to handle communication and navigation.

My wife has really helped out searching for food stops or pit stops when we need one that isn't arranged in advance on past tours.

Just booked the Bahamas trip. So it depends what the tour is in regards to pricing for my answer. I have an extra week of vacation rolling over, so the time off part shouldn't be an issue
