You in luck. I made exactly 10 posts this week.
However I don't see any whining or bitching.
My comment still stands. Covid can end the snowmobile season before it even starts.
Covid could end your snowmobile season before it starts, so could a plane crash, a car crash, job loss, a flood, a hurricane, an earthquake.
Who gives a fucking mother fucking fuck. Live life and quit being such a negative Nancy.
Time for the snowmobile crew to go 6th-sies on that Burandt trailer. Get the fold up cot upgrade to sleep 6 dudes and carry 6 sleds.
Sleep in the parking lot.
I am not going to sit here and wait for it, but further covid restrictions can be a huge problem for the snowmobile season. Not sure why you are arguing that, it can happen easier than lack of snow. Wisconsin bars/restaurants are already "restricted" to 25% capacity. Wisconsin hotels/resorts were banned from renting to anyone that was "non-essential" back in April. It can happen again. When you got no places to eat or sleep you have a problem when the majority of people are traveling to ride. The state can also go so far as to stop "trail maintenance" like Michigan did towards the end of the season last year. Business owners, snowmobile clubs, and residents are already talking about what will happen if more restrictions are put in place. The northwoods and UP were lucky most restrictions were "lifted" come early June and peak "tourist season". I've lost count how many businesses never opened again or are put up for sale because of this bullshit. Yeah this stuff is not very enforced, but even if you have half the businesses playing by the rules the season can be drastically effected.
I do live life. I'm not letting COVID 19 stop me from doing the things I love. But covid restrictions sure put a damper on some of them.
im not sure why you are arguing at all, except for you just being upset about everything always.
it won't happen again.
tcg snowmobile crew doesn't care about bars and restaurants. they eat hotdogs off their manifolds and rent houses for all winter long.
my boss was riding all winter and until the melt in the UP just fine. not sure what you were doing wrong.
Sounds like fresh pow to rip, tater chip.Trail maintenance was also suspended. Not due to lack of snow. Due to the State banning it.
Went through 10 pages of previous posts yesterday and failed to see my negativity. Only posts you disagree with are labeled as negative.
Enjoy eating hot dogs all day and trying to book something in the same area that every other midwest mountain sled rider frequents in a area that already has limited places to stay.
I also rode almost every weekend. Wanted one last trip mid to late march to Yoop but places to stay were already shutting down due to covid and even gas was hard to come by. Trail maintenance was also suspended. Not due to lack of snow. Due to the State banning it.
Where do you stay in Mercer? My last trip up we stayed at the Great Northern Hotel. Their Wolf's Den bar had some damn good burgers. Can tell bars are hurting more than usual this year. My favorite place in Mercer didn’t even have cable tv anymore

That's about all I remember of the place, lol.
Dude, that’s awesome.I had breakfast there twice last week . My moms side of the family has a house on ~50 acres on a small lake up there that trail 8 that runs out to the flowage passes through. My Mom’s great grandfather immigrated from England to Ironwood Michigan around 1900 and my history is hazy, but either him or his son bought the land in Mercer we’re on now.
