Here's some of the video I have from yesterday. For a bit of reference on the engine RPM's, I was launching between 6,000 - 10,000rpm, and was shifting at 16,000.

Thirdgen89GTA did of me with my DSLR, and quite frankly did a better job with my camera than I ever have trying to capture drag racing.
These are ones from my onboard camera. The quality is fairly crap, as the camera is vibrating in its own mount. It clears up once I get on the throttle. It's a cheap $30 Chinese knockoff that my g/f got me from like T.J. Maxx or something. But it is better than nothing, until the battery died. Maybe I'll put a GoPro on my xmas wish list.

My first try stitching together two images in lightroom. This actually worked way better than I thought. This was taken later in the day when I finally got a break. Pretty sure the staging lanes had a bunch of cars in them as well at this point.
There might be some in the batch Will took. Need to sort through them, about 1200 in total.

I think that just proves why I could never be a Surgeon or do electrical repair. Have and always had have shaky shaky hands.
Since I have unlimited Flickr Storage, prepare for a massive photo dump with lots of burnout pictures.
Got over 1100 images uploading. Most are sequential, when people were burning out, or launching I just held the button down.
I would have taken more, but honestly, the sun was starting to kill me, and even leaving early when I did, I still ended up with a sunburn on basically everything, even though I spent a bunch of time in the shad under the tent.

Again, it's sucky. I make zero claims that it is really of any quality. You can tell when I put my hand on the camera for like 1 second which is when it stopped vibrating.
