My brother has the bigger one and he isn’t a huge fan of using it as a smoker. He loves it as a grill though lol. At first he raved about it as a smoker, but a few cooks afterwards, not so much. I’d have to ask, but maybe temps shoot up, and something with the pellet hopper having issues. I was going to raw dog it but the temp hit a wall at 170ish and wrapped in AL foil.did you end up wrapping it? or raw dog it the whole cook?

salt, pepper, garlic, get the grill to 400-425ish, oil grates, face down until you see the white stuff kinda oozing out, then wait a few more mins. if you can flake down to the skin with a fork its ready to go. hard to say a time without seeing it, since different sizes will be all different times, but last night these were around 18 mins. around 14oz each. before cooking.I have a filet I gotta do tonight.
