I was not impressed with the gen2 webers. I think the older one holds heat and cooks more evenly. Found this black one for $250 tried it for a month then sold it for $350 this summer.
I also finally found a summit I can afford. Its NG but I plumbed in and extra whip when I had the heater put in my garage. I've only done high heat cooks so far but I might end up sell my old stainless propane.

I saw some bone sucking sauce at Lowes so that means BBQ chicken.
Grabbed the summit for $375. Had to act fast and pick it up same day it was listed.
It rips over 700* in about 10min. I'm pretty happy with it.
Whenever I see deals like that they are usually gone in under a hour.
