i've seen some pretty big dudes hauling some pretty serious ass before.
i thought autobahn even had it so you could weight the karts now? which i wouldn't expect them to generally put in the effort to do for anything but special occasions or whatnot. have seen that once, dubai outdoor track when they were having this big company vs. company event, and corporations were playing against eachother for softball, volleyball, karting, it was pretty sweet.

Just did Road America karts for a work event and what a ridiculous spread in mechanical upkeep. First kart, the throttle would stick wide open or partial and I’d have to pull it back out with my toe, and front grip sucked. 7th of 10 with a 49.862. I was bitching about it and got those “sure, buddy, I’m sure it was the car” looks from the experienced guys.
Session 2, got an absolute ripper of a kart and posted fastest lap of the session, 45.191. Quite the change in time for the 2,500-foot track.
