Nailed a 44.5" a few days ago. Picture was taken from kinda far away like 15' so doesn't do the fish justice. Damn near a top water bite got to see it eat at my feet which is always Badassness!

Yeah buddy! I didn't have the net ready... mine folds in half and the pole extends so it was fun deal with that and while keeping the fish on.

Watching all these fishing videos makes we want to start filming stuff when I go out. The. I realize how much of a PITA it is to film and edit video and the novelty wears off.

Oh gotcha, looks like a lake I've fished a couple of times that had some real nice bass, for the size of the lake.

She would've been even fatter 3 weeks ago before the spawn! Should've weighed her or got a girth wanted to get her back though. I can figure approximate weight by girth and length measurements.

Was about 5 minutes by myself, would get it in the bag(net) faster if I had someone out with me. I had to mess around getting the net out (ready) again with this one too lol...:doh: oh well

I also scored up on this bait lot for 32bux shipped...:lmao: I bought it for the 2 Big custom 14" paddle swimbaits, they're made in Sweden and are hard to come by each is worth more than what I paid for the lot. All are new except the 2 Big Joe's. The 5 Bulldawgs are Super D's Brand which are a knock off of the Musky Innovations ones but they'll catch plenty. Already got follows on the Big Joe and the Double Dawg.

This weekend was interesting, started off with top water and only landed 1 LMB. Switched to a white spinner bait and things got interesting. 1 4-5lb catfish, 2 LMB, 1 crappie and one huge red bellied sunfish.

That’s a damn deal. I’ve seen a couple lots of bait for sale I’ve been tempted to buy. Still working on getting together the basics. Telling myself not to go too crazy, I’ll probably get 3-4 times a year to fish for musky, not worth having thousands of dollars of baits.

Lost a musky on the fox river today :wtc:

He hit it short. Big Poseidon swim bait, teeth marks on it behind the rear hook and that’s it. Pulled the fish in about 20’, did a glorious jump and spit the lure.

Gotta anticipate it happening and be ready to keep the rod tip down if/when they go airborn to keep them pinned, though sometimes it just doesn't matter.

So yesterday this Motherfucker busted out of the net after I got it un-hooked, just as I went to grab it out the net for measurement/pic's... It was about 40-42". Time for a new net or at the least a replacement bag if I can find one. Sucks, I've bagged hundreds of fish with it over the years so it had a lot good fish ju-ju. Oh well... definitely got my money's worth out of it.
