are they polished aluminum ?
or polished and clear coated ?

and from the looks of the barrel, it's going to be difficult to remove the pitting. The wheels on my truck were "polished with a clear coat"
metal polish did nothing on the face.
I tried multiple chemicals and clay etc to remove the shit from the barrel. No luck.

Finally got to wash yesterday. This is my first time washing a car with city water and it is glorious. Don’t have to rush into the garage to dry it before the hard water drys and leaves a film of minerals, or dry my windows with diluted vinegar to keep the spots off.

Really impressed with this Gtechniq C5 (I think?) wheel armor. I put these wheels away in December still dirty. Cleaned them yesterday with CG Diablo wheel gel which is just over glorified shampoo and my usual wheel woolies and brush assortment. Only got to final mist with ultima and hand dry two of them before I ran out of time. This one just air dried and it’s crazy how clean it was. Usually my final wipe down wheel towel is pretty gross.

You know what I really hate? When the wind decides to pick up the EXACT second I start to spray some product on my car. Blowing the overspray all over all the panels ive already done. Never fails!!!! But I did decide to stop being lazy today and washed the bmw, and put on a nice coat of Reload. Also used some hydro2 lite before drying to help ease the water spot formation. Hopefully that'll tide it over for a little while now. I need to resupply soon. Finally running low on a lotta things.

Did my yearly deep clean today. Foamed with maxisuds 2, rinsed, washed with maxisuds 2, rinse, foamed with maxisuds and used griots synthetic clay, rinsed, did some iron x spot treatment. Megs 205 on a white pad and some spots used an orange. Isopropyl wipe down and sealed with Wolfgang deep gloss sealant on a blue pad. Car pro reload on the windows, Chemical Guys VRP on the tires.
