Waterless because you have control over the variables.

The scratch o matic may have high TDS water, use high alkaline detergents and likely do not inspect their units.

if someone brings a Jeep that was off roading in before you, you have no idea what is lodged in the brush bristles or 'soft' cloth' mop strips.

I get asked a lot, usually before or after I detail a vehicle "what if someone does not wash their car like you or goes through a car wash?"
My response, " It's not my car." The owner can do whatever they would like. I worry about my own things more than a normal human being so I can't worry about every other car out there.

Back when I lived in Illinois, I used both the rinseless wash method and the waterless wash method all through winter without any noticeable issues on my dark gray Mustang GT. I burned through a ton of towels though. I was actually shocked how the car came out of winter looking fine. That was my DD at the time and I usually cleaned it every weekend to every other.

I still prefer soap and water, but I don’t think there is any real downside to going rinseless or waterless as long as you manage your towels appropriately. A good technique is also helpful.

I support the use of Modelo in this review.

When its 115 out and all the moisture in your body is escaping through pores you didn't even know you had, it is quite delicious :ROFLMAO:

And yeah, i reserve waterless for when that 1 cloud that invariably rolls over my car and drops 8 rain drops on it, or for cleaning up the weekly normal dust buildup.

Only 115Âş ? Wussy. Bet it is a dry heat, too. Nice and balmy here.

I hear this stuff is good for washing to prep for ceramic coat! It says no unnecessary ingredients so it’s safe right? Then I can use magic eraser to get the bugs off.

I’m kidding, I used Chemical Guys prep wash, clayed the entire car, light hand polish on a few scratches and ceramic coated with Adam’s Graphene Advanced. Then my crippled ass spent the next few hours limping around it with a UV light getting rid of the high spots. Work was easy enough and my back hurts like hell but at least it’s coated, we’ll see how long it lasts but I’ll probably do it again before winter.

The guys at the rag company like this product a lot. They speak to how easy it is to use.
I have a bottle but have not used it yet.

It is a legit coating topper or stand alone silica spray sealant so it would not be used all the time.

When p and S launched the product, one of the first questions was can it be used as a drying aid. They said no. Vehicle should be washed and dried, then apply the product.

I also have a bottle of the new version of reload, have not used that yet either.
