My truck I bought previous owner was a smoker. I ran an ozone generator which helped a ton, but scent is coming back which I figured it would. Its not as bad this time around. Looking for someone to come out to do an interior detail only. Anyone here do that or know someone or a place that does? I don't have all the stuff needed for that or the time to do it correctly.
Have you changed the cabin filter ?

You coated the Durango previously, didn't you? What was your process this time since it was coated before?

CSL was applied in December of 2019.
I washed the truck with OG Decon Shampoo, clayed with the rag company ultra clay towel.
Polished with Sonax Perfect Finish and a Rupes yellow polishing pad. Since the coating is almost 5 years old, I felt confident that PF would be enough to remove anything that was left.

If a vehicle was going to be redone after 2 years or maybe even 3 years, a 2 step polishing process may be necessary.
Wool or MF pad + something like Menzerna 2400 followed with a finishing polish and a polishing pad.

Also what are the cool kids using for tire shine? I have been using Griots in the aerosol for the last couple years but not sure if anything else has came out that lasts. The Griots works great but I feel like I dont get too many applications out of a can

What's everyone's thoughts on claybar mitts verses just using clay? I have never used a mitt, but am preparing a correction on my cobra and they look neat.

The rag Company Ultra clay towel or clay 'scrubber'
The scrubber is perforated clay on one side and a jersey bug scrubber on the other. They come in a 2 pack. The Towel can be folded to be used in smaller sections ( 1/4s )
If the vehicle is not heavily contaminated, the towel / scrubber will make the clay process a lot faster.

Meguiar's Hyper Dressing 3:1 or 4:1
P&S Shine all
CarPro Pearl ( Can be diluted )

My poor detailer should be tackling the nasty ass mess on mine early next week. He'll be doing the full exterior work up: paint correction, and likely going the 5-year Nasiol ZR53 ceramic coating.

Here's the before:

Gav'sPurpleZ Gav'sPurpleZ , or anyone. Whats the hot shit in waterless wash these days? I do have ech2o, but have primarily used that to mix w/ reload to make my detail spray. But now that we're in the monsoon out here im thinking I need something I can quickly spray on and clean the car with, because I am going to be doing it quite frequently from now until about october.

They rock. I got a two pack of sponges with clay on one side and bug removal mesh on the other. Work amazing for getting the road grime and tar chunks off the rocker panels behind the front wheels. Total game changer.
