I have a light glass polish but the windshield has so many divots from rocks that it’s damn near impossible to get the polish buffed off. When driving into the sun it looks like you’re staring into the Milky Way.

Glass polishes typically need to be rinsed off or wiped with a wet towel.
A regular polish or compound will be fine to deep clean the glass.

You're not correcting scratches.
Once the alcohol wipe is done, it should be clean/clear

I'm learning!!!!! I used this previously, along with the really thin polishing pad. But, I didn't go back and wipe the glass with isopropyl. I just buffed it off and applied the sealant.

In the most recent application of the G5 I didn't polish, I just washed, clay, then used the isopropyl to clean the glass. I skipped the polish because of the [prior] polish residue being left in the chips. I've also never tried to wipe off with a damp/wet towel, just a dry microfiber since that what the instructions said. I figured a damp towel would go against the "don't get wet for two hours". But I'll give that a try since it can be hard to remove with just a dry MF.

The IPA wipe should help remove any polish build up in the rock chips. You can always re wash after a polish if you really wanted to be sure all residue is gone.

Another wonderful use of ONR or any other rinseless wash. Use that to remove the residue, then use the IPA wipe.

Washing the car from the cruise finally, even though it’s sprinkling a little, but I took the day off from work damn it! Anyway I was gonna try and wax it after but gonna have to wait after I found this monster, will wash and then fill it with DR Color chip I have leftover. Then figure out another day to throw some wax/sealer on it.

It does suck when that happens, but in my opinion it sucks even more to not enjoy the vehicle.

Agree, I love the fact that it’s in really good shape for its age but it’s never gonna be worth a million dollars or something. I still take really good care of it but also want to enjoy it. Gotta fix it up for the next cruise!
