That’s cool it probably rides more on that center pod once it gets rolling

another one. 115hp motor pushing this one to 36 which is fucking ripping for a 23' pontoon with only 115hp

We love it. With the kids and dog, enough space to not feel cramped. It's a Landau Island Breeze 232 with that Suzuki. Bimini down, full tank of gas, and whole family on board, it'll do 34-35. Add another 3-4 people and it tops around 26.

Yaj Yak Yaj Yak is swinging.

Cost wise, all in boat, outboard, trailer and tax it was just shy of 57. I know you're looking for fiberglass in that range but food for thought.
Like KJ said, they just make too much sense. I've been looking in the 23-24' range with a 200-250hp. Somewhere around 2020ish. I hate that they make so much sense, I really do.

Yeah, we were looking lightly used for a couple months but some of the shit people are selling and smoking (and usually both) is hilarious. 3-5 year old boats for new cost and usually without a trailer. Found ours at Holiday Shores Marina in the Dells and pretty much walked out with a deposit down for her to get a check.

My dads old crest 22 tritoon with a 115 merc would only run 32mph after he spent a month figuring out the best prop for mid range top end, that boat had the sport package with lifting strakes and a capped hull

The year that my man boat was a pontoon I was ready to jump off a bridge, one with a 250 or 300 would have been tolerable
I had a 20ft turd barge with a 90 and it sucked so bad. That has left a bad taste in my mouth. A few years ago I was hot to trot on tri-toon with a 150 then pivoted to repower my deck boat. Being on the chain where everyone is running 23' toons and get in everyone's way has made it hard to want one.

They have a 25' with a 200 that is $60k, not bad.

This is ours with a different deck layout and color. They have the lounger in the rear whereas we have the full wrap around seating in the back. Same size, tritoon, lifting strakes, that Suzuki 140, everything.

Well another benefit is I could buy a cover for lift, winterize the boat and leave it on that all year. That's what my neighbor does. Part of me wanting a newer boat is exploring other lakes though.

you likely wouldn't want to leave a cover on the boat lift all year- imo id just shrinkwrap it on the lift if you went this route
