Sunday June 26th at 9am
It's about that time again.
Albiet a smaller turnout, the first C&C was a success. I'd like to see it continue on an about monthly basis. Because the following Sunday is July 3rd and many will be celebrating the 4th, out of town, etc... I figured that the 26th would work better.
The shakedown would be much like that of the first one. Downtown Barrington is a good meeting spot. There's plenty of smaller breakfast joints, and a starbucks as well. There's plenty of parking, and if we were to outgrow the area, there's also a parking lot (where they host the cruise night) one street over.
9am-Meet in Downtown Barrington (Intersection of Lake Cook road [main st.] and Rt. 59)
9-11Grab food, BS, general vehicular nutswinging while waiting for stragglers
10:30am-12pm-Picture time. Allowing more time as some good picture spots are a short drive away.
AS WITH THE LAST CRUISE, BE RESPECTFUL AND DRIVE CAREFULLY WHILE IN DOWNTOWN BARRINGTON. IT'S A SUNDAY AT 9-12. THERE ARE MANY SMALL CHURCHES IN THE AREA WITH FAMILES AND SMALL CHILDREN. ALSO, THE POLICE IN THE AREA WILL TAKE NOTICE OF US. IT DOES NOT TAKE MUCH TO RUIN IT FOR EVERYONE.
The fun part...
12pm- Cruise to Ruby Tuesday's at Gurnee Mills mall. I know of a pretty awesome back roads route that will allow for some fun driving and awesome scenery.
12pm-2pm- Eat a burger and go home.
