If anyone is interested I am organizing a "quick" paced cruise with some of my buddies. We will start at the parking lot of Limestone Brewery at 12337 South Route 59, Plainfield, IL at 7:30 AM before any traffic begins to fill up the streets on Sunday.

Drive one way lasts about 1 hr.

If your interested let me know.

Attendees:
Malakaone - Lotus Elise
Dan - VW GTI
Outlaw - unknown
Neighbor - Porsche Boxster
Rich from Naperville Meets - Lotus Exige
Friend - Lotus Elise
Friend - BMW 335i
Neighbor - Acura TL Type S

Not a bad gathering so far.

Sounds awesome to me! Not sure which car I'll bring at this time, and I need to make sure I can skip out on church Sunday morning. So I will check back later to confirm my participation.

It needs to be early so the roads have less traffic.

I agree Starve Rock is nice. The road conditions can be shitty though.

I'm 90% sure I'm gonna make it. Got the green light from the wife to skip church! I recently lowered the Firehawk, and am getting some rubbing on the rear inner passenger fender well. If I can make some clearance, I'll try to take that if we have good weather. Otherwise I'll do my best with the GTI to keep up.

I cycle through cars pretty quickly. It was a great car, but not practical for everyday driving due to ground clearance and my obsessive compulsive nature with vehicles. I would take it places around town. To the gym, to downtown Barrington to grab a coffee, Luke's... But anything with distance, hell no.

Nah I had my jeep and an E34 525 at the time, but the bimmer was constantly under the knife and the jeep was shit/ is shit on gas, so whenever I wasn't going far I took the Alfa.

Back OT, I may try and grab something fun from work and meet up with you guys.
