Its shaping up to be another busy fucking summer for me.
College kids would be ideal, however if I land this whiteboard installation job which I'm very confident I will. I'll be looking for a couple of guys skilled in carpentry (hanging 15' x 5' boards)
College kids will be needed in Glenview and or near Ohare. Unloading trailers and very light assembly (chairs) in Glenview, loading trucks near Ohare
Just need them to commit to a schedule and be there. If they can only work 2-3 days a week, thats perfectly fine but I'm going to need them to commit to those days. I can be very flexible as long as I know ahead of time. Please dont have them show up in shorts and sandals as I sent 2 kids home last year for that shit.
$20hr on a check, cant do cash, seasonal position so no they arent claiming unemployment on me, yes a kid tried last year
Skilled carpentry guys $28hr, I can go up to $30hr but I need to see your worth it before I bump the pay

Start early June and will go thru late July/early August

Glenview M-F 7a-3p with occasional OT (both college and skilled carpentry guys)

Ohare would be like a part time 2nd shift for guys that cant work during the day M-F 4p-8p

Bumping this up as I have the opportunity to land my biggest job ever. Just got off a conference call regarding a HUGE decommission job that will start in June and go thru the end of the year. Job is in the Oak Brook area and said person will need to have basic tools, screw gun being the biggest tool.
This will be 40hrs a week and if said person can drive a non CDL 26' truck I can pay them $30hr. If not then the pay would be $25hr on a check.
Its very easy work, getting to the job on time will be the hardest part of the day. Basically tearing down cubicles and private offices, put it on moving equipment and wheel it to the dock. Takes no brains at all, just some common sense.
