My old man was commuting from the south side to Arlington Heights during the beginning of China virus....and was setting his cruise control at 100mph on 90/94 everyday.

Not to mention we went on that cruise from Schaumburg to the loop in April and we passed a cop on the way down with all of us doing 75 - 100mph. He barely looked at us....

The police straight up said they're not going to do anything, it was a green light. I was able to get from Winfield/Yorkville in about 13min. It was just semi trucks and a few cars for a while there. Construction zones average speed if it wasn't a truck had to have been 85mph. Eventually the state troopers would sit on the side of the road with their lights on, but still didn't do anything, people were still blasting past them at 90+. It was like running in advanced group at the track and now it's like I'm back in beginner, bunch of idiots.
