Something like that, its not the actual taking the trans down that's the bitch, its all the other misc bs you have to remove, then get to the bellhousing bolts, once all thats down, dropping it down with a jack takes 2 mins. What's that thing weigh 97 lbs?

I thought about that but honestly once all the stuff was pulled off the the trans it was easy to just pull it out and not deal with the crazy angles pulling them together. If you were going to just yank the engine you should have probably done it as a unit honestly. Something like that it's almost always easier to yank both.
I'm so deep into all the ford stuff I've have collected over the last 6yrs I'm not sure if I want to change directions now. I'm probably being dumb and lazy because I don't want to learn another platform.LS time
Buying premade panels like the ones from Scott Rod simplify the job a lot.
The body shop that smoothed my engine bay used my scotts panels and they came out great....Buying premade panels like the ones from Scott Rod simplify the job a lot.
I just took the junker 3.8 out.So uh...you're swapping a Buick 3.8 in this aren't you?
naa unfortunately I'm building a 347..... so you're putting in the Buick 3.8/3800 then? Ford did such a poor job of copying buick for their 3.8
