Next Friday night, September 4th, is the final regular program of the season, with Fan Appreciation topping the night’s events.
Along with a full program of racing, gifts will be given out in a drawing from the rain checks, including a TV, season tickets for the 2010 season, racing hats, etc.

The season will end two days later, on September 6th with the running of the 33rd annual Night of Features, with a special start time of 6:30 pm.

Topping the card will be the 61 lap Lee Schuler Memorial for the high powered late model division.
A 35 lap Mid-American main, a 30 lap Street Stock feature and a 20 lap 4 Cylinder division event will also be on the card, making this the busiest race night of the season.
In addition, there will be a 25 lap Legends main, a 25 lap Illini Midget feature and a vintage race car exhibition feature, totaling 196 laps of feature racing during this annual event.
Double championship points will also be awarded all stock cars, and the track champions in all four divisions will be determined.
A rain date of Monday night, Labor Day, will be used if needed.
Fireworks will fill the sky to end the racing season, with fireworks you can feel, by the Mad Bomber.
Racing on the final Friday night, September 4th begins at 8 pm. Sunday, September 6th, time trials get underway at 5pm, with the green flag ready to waive at 6:30.
Children 11 and under are admitted free of charge, with free parking.

The Grundy County Speedway is located just north of I-80, on Rt 47, at the Fairgrounds in Morris, Illinois.
