This change in style would have worked with a character you're invested in.

I disagree with that. No one wants anything different than what they already had, especially the OT nuthumpers. Going outside of the box is best served with a character that people don't have strong investment in so you don't have to hear "yOuRe rUiNiNg My FaVoRiTe ChArAcTeR"

Watched. Back to a slower episode, but I'm perfectly fine with that. I love watching all this groundwork being laid down and cant wait until all the pieces start coming together.

I love the style and tone of this show. The writing is really good. And there was a cameo from Richie aka "cousin" from The Bear in this episode too!
