The wheel thread got me thinking....What cars go from zero to hero when the manufacturer decides to fuck around and find out? I’ll also allow cars that are dramatically better looking with a set of wheels and stance.

To me, the king is the 95 caprice/Impala ss. It literally goes from grandmas bingo bomber to something her daughter would get knocked up in...and granddaughter.....by the same man who owns the SS.

Those OEM's on that generation were boring as shit. They were trying to emulate the "Eleanor" look from the Gone in 60 Seconds remake, but kind of failed.

This might be the biggest stretch... The original 911 used a number of shared Beetle components, though. The evolution that followed over the decades have certainly made the vehicles into 2 completely separate entities. Yet, there is still a family resemblance.
