So who wants TCG Tour 2021???

So after talking to Mook he would love to get some help planning TCG Tour this year. We agreed that planning would be much easier with a group of 4-5 people to divide and concur. Our fearless leader is still going to be the main voice but he needs our help. I am looking for an additional 3-4 DEPENDABLE members to help out. This would entail a private chat section for us to connect on a somewhat regular basis and most likely a month in person planning session with plenty of home work. If anyone is interested please let me know. Thanks.

So this needs to be addressed. I am for 2 separate events but open to discussion. As of right now this group is to plan an early summer tour. Route/destination TBD.

I shared my idea with administration last year. The talks of a dragon trip would be separate. That requires more planning and more dedication from members.

TCG does 5 States and 1000 miles. Mississippi and Lake Superior Tour 2020.

I needed to split the maps up into Part 1 and Part 2 because I had two many points plotted on the maps. I haven't really thought of stops yet or where to overnight but this could be a scenic and potential route. But I was thinking St. Croix Wisconsin and Ashland Wisconsin for overnights. Both areas have a few chain hotels. I know Northern Wisconsin and the UP well so I can really pick some great spots. We can also shave off some miles and time by Skipping Dubuque and taking 90 to Madison and they scenic 14 to La Crosse. The route is a good mix of back roads and highways. The last day route home is not very scenic past Wausau but its fast and my guess is most will be tired of driving again anyway.

Nothing is happening now on Lake Superior since the locks are closed until mid-March, but in season, watching the lakers go through is cool.
