Lightning, thunder, rain and hail woke up the kids and dogs, hence ourselves.

Appears Mother Nature has an attitude these days.

The ground cable did it's job. But the cable is grown into the tree 4 inches. The box outside my house is what blew up when it got hit last night. I saw sparks and flashing and the boom.

This tree is 3 poles down. This is all telephone wiring.

However my internet is still down but it's on on this line. It's drapped over this line. I'm assuming it fried my line anyway

Some interesting weather here today. In the last 30 minutes, sunny, cloudy, sunny, pouring rain, sunny again.

Yeah twice I’ve gone outside to walk the dogs and both times I’ve gotten soaked. Sunny for 5min then boom heavy rain and sleet for 5 min. Said fuck this and stared to sit inside and try to catch pics of the birds around the house from the window.
