Driving through NWI just before all the shit went down. Google maps had us jump off of 80/94 to avoid the traffic, went through Highland among other towns. Once we got onto 294 about 20 minutes later, we heard about all the weather that we just missed. 80/94 was a parking lot from the Michigan boarder basically into Illinois

Wife was on her way back from ATL coming up 65 right by Dyer, just as the shit show started.

Meanwhile, I was here, waiting for the rain to stop so I could mow. Grass was a foot tall in the back yard (the dog fertilizes well), and kept getting rained on as I was out there. Because I couldn't mulch, I had to blow it straight out. The mower, which is red, was completely green, covered from stem to stern with grass.
