Who knows on buy back, need to call insurance today. Values all seem decent for a 14 with my mileage and I see a lot of people post up there less smashed cars have been totaled out. They just don’t have body parts for these things. Unless buy back is astronomical I’ll be buying it and parting it out more than likely. My truck they valued at like $8k with 7k worth of damage and I bought it back for about a grand. Then sold it as is for $4500

That's ONLY if they receive payment from the other company and their payment covers their cost. Then they'll send it back to you.

I had that with my GTP. 2 years later I got it back surprisingly. Evidently it took them (State Farm), that long to work it out with the 3rd world, late night infomercial insurance company the idiot that hit me had.

Amerisure which I’ve never heard of. Talked with the claim specialist that has my case and he came off as a normal guy. Explained it all and said he was going to contact them in the morning and “feel them out” for me. First bitch I talked to sounded like she was trying to fleece me for money. This guy told me some companies are a breeze to deal with directly and others are a pain in the ass and don’t answer, don’t return calls/emails so it could go on and on.

There’s more to the story with said van and the driver unfortunately. After speaking with the fleet manager of the company, they’re being cooperative.
