Well this was very much an introductory episode but it was pretty decent. Theres a lot more moving parts than I thought there would be. But im interested to see how they all come together. Will continue to watch.

I missed the first showing so waiting on the second. I always give at least 2 episodes because firsts always seem to be backstory they cram in. It does make me appreciate shows that just throw you the fuck in though.

Great episode IF you remove the CIA from it. Completely baffling they would introduce them in the first episode along w/ the black kid. It should have been one or the other, not both. The CIA setup was a bit confusing and rushed.

Also, introducing the wrestler was the same problem....3 storylines in the pilot, none able to really gain ground aside from the kid (who was fantastic).

I think this is gonna be a great show, despite those annoyances.

Yeah thats why I said there were a lot more moving parts than i thought there would be. It almost takes a couple watch thrus to really get everything. They loaded that episode up. Stoked for tonights episode tho.

I think youre lookin too much into this. The kid impressed him enough. I mean he did the thing with gun and the vest! And even like the kid said, why the hell would i take a brick from a guy like you and run? They understand each other.

I know I know. I'm just finding the organization of this show to be a bit of a mess. Too much jumping between the three groups right now.

More or less. I think. Just enough to stay under the cia's protection. But the previous guy was obviously not on the straight and narrow, and he vouched for this new white dude, which is why hes involved now, but i dont really think he knows what hes gotten himself into.
