2015 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 navigation. This was a fully loaded car for the year and I bought it brand new in Dec. 2014. It’s modded, I have been through like a dozen sets of wheels, it’s paid for, I like this car, and I have 90k with no issues.

Random pics of stereo. I realize that i need more pictures.
When I built the pillars for the midrange speakers I made a jig to aim the speakers to the same location on opposite sides of the car. The pillars turned out great with out the use of bondo or fiberglass. Instead it’s all structural repair adhesive glue that made for plastic bumpers.
The one picture with the computer and cables going into the car is a tuning setup at a show.
To make the Kenwood work properly in this car was a nightmare. Metra sells an interface kit for this car but it’s terrible and a waste of $350. The upper i-Mid screen was useless and I lost most of the functions of the car. I ended up throwing it away. To fix this I dissembled the OEM headunit as far as possible and mounted it inside the dash. I lost the storage pocket but it is what it is. I made my own harness for power, ground, steering wheel controls, ect. With the OEM unit running that keeps the upper i-Mid screen working like factory. All my camera work, fuel economy screen, navigation map works.

The computer does really well with 5 mics around the drivers head rest. It’s not an auto tune by any means. The computer will get you 95% there with time alignment, phase, left vs right EQ ect. When all done you still need to listen to the car and make sure everything is okay and usually have to adjust the EQ a little bit. Just because it looks great on graph doesn’t mean it’s right

I added a Magnaflow cat back the other day. It actually sounds decent, not like a rice burner, and not to loud. ?

After driving this bitch for a while it does have some drone on the highway and a raspy noise and certain rpm. I guess that RV6 J pipe is known to make that raspy noise. I ordered an ATLP J pipe because that is suppose to smooth out that rasp. I also might weld the stock resonator in just to kill the drone. More pics when parts arrive

BTW this happened over the weekend. Complete trunk gut. Probably going with 2 12” subs in a fiber glass enclosure in the spare tire well and everything will be very stealth.

Been doing some glassing the past couple weeks. It looks ugly now but the end result will be good. Plans have changed. I was going to use two 12’s but I have something better coming your way from Italy?

Box is in the car and topped it with some spare vinyl plank flooring that i had laying around the basement. Still have to make another trim piece. Also ordered a new DSP, Helix Ultra.

Got the sub 2 years ago for the yellow car I totaled.

Finally got a good deal on an amp and LOC and wiring kit today.

Needs to all go in the new 2020 Mustang.

Single Type X on 1200 rms should be enough no?

Trying this in here because I gotta ask you for some info on building a box for it.

Amp and LOC in the spare tire well.

Sealed box but itd be pretty big if i make it width of the trunk and wedge shaped so fits nice against the back of the seats.

Roughly but itll be rotated from the pic. comes out to 1.67 cubic feet unless I chop it down and just make a face plate so it fits the width of the trunk nice thats 38"?

So thoughts i need to ask.

1. Face sub forward to the seats or backwards?
2. Keep it sealed or make a ported box.
