I still have to pull the blower at some point to replace the heater core that's leaking in the cab. I bypassed it a while back.

I have a thermal blanket to wrap the underside still, and debating thermal spacer plates to negate some heat conduction still.

And ceramic coat the headers. Clocked them at 450+ degrees, so underhood temps are shit.

And this happened last week. Fuel regulator gauge failed, glycol dripped out on the header and then started dripping fuel on it.

Still have a few things to hash out. Relocated the signal wire on the relay to an ignition source, and its working like a champ so far. First drive with it actually working.

So glad to finally see good IATs!!! Pretty cool this morning at 62°, fluids at temp and had IATs in the 60s. Made a pull and never hit 90°

Little update...

Nothing has changed.... still haven't finished my toon or hit a dyno ?

I'm being patient and waiting for Bob at NextGen still. He's waiting on his brand new Dynocom dyno to be delivered.

Only other thing was I cleaned up some wiring some more.

Well, been a minute. I've still been battling IATs even with the Interchiller. So I reached out to ceramic coat my headers but lead time is too long before the GLD track day 6/4.

So I'll be wrapping the headers for now. But I also just pulled the blower to to some phenolic spacers and thermal blanket for blower.

Also, last Monday the truck died... apparently bad wiring at the fuel pump. Was worried a pump died but im good.

Blower is off, little oily in it. I talked with Joekrz, coating on the rotors shouldn't have come off. Either oil or antifreeze did it.

Hoping to have my adapters back tomorrow and start putting it back together [emoji1696]

Headers are out so I can wrap them for now. Hoping to do that at work on Saturday (while I'm raking I'm double time).

I have some work ahead of me though.

Jokerz looked to be working on an even bigger blower port than what he put in mine. So when I do internals, I might step that up again.

Well, I'd say it's more so the underhood temps that are fucking with me than anything else. The headers are COOKING And everything even on a 50° day is like 130+ to the touch in the engine bay. So the blower is absorbing a shit ton.

I got the AC charged better for the interchiller to work pretty well, but I have to play with the charge more because it's not perfect. First pic of the SUPER iced one is how I need it be, the second is the best I've gotten. But it was also in January's weather.

I'll get there, eventually lol. Just trying to get it all to work at least.

That stinks to hear Nick, judging by the inside of your blower it looks like you are getting a lot of blow by. Did you have Jokerz clean your IC bricks?

I scrolled through a few things on the IG. Now compared to a dumbass intake and header tune, I made nearly 200whp on 6lbs and bolt-ons.

*update.... truck has been sitting since July 4th... Something screwy went on and the MAF isn't reading putting me in speed density but it's not liking it AT ALL. Also, coupled with the fuel pump fried the power wire again I need to strip back and replace it/most. I have a new stock bucket style plug and play like I wanted from the start. Still a dual walboro 450 setup but 200% simpler... I need to get back in the saddle and enjoy this thing but LIFE happened. Daughter's 1st birthday and slammed with work shutdown. Hopefully there's a clearing.

Internals will happen eventually, and the biggest news yet!!

A guy in the Gen V truck group swapped in a 10spd from the '18 SUV. So I hope like hell it picks up like the 80e swaps did and becomes a plug and play by the time I get to it. But from what I gather it's not too bad right now.

It's been a while, and the truck is still sitting. I have more things to throw on it but I'm hoping this damn ECM fixes my MAF issue. Bob at NextGen thinks it's PCM related. I sure fucking hope so... another year down with barely enjoying this thing.

So I apologize for my absence... Its been a hell of a year [emoji17][emoji1751]

The truck has been fixed for a while. Bob at NextGen found the issue, but I still installed the PCM just in case. So far [emoji1696] all has been well. Although, now.... [emoji1787] either I'm blowing through the converter on the 1-2 or she's slipping. Trans fluid looked cooked.

So if I gotta rebuild a trans, I'm definitely going 10spd. Oh and the plug wire was a cherry topper. Found it after I got home that night.
