How’s this build going? Looking forward to the dad truck showdown coming to a track near you soon lol
Currently working on installing the caltracs and re-installing fuel tank. Had to drop the tank some to install, but I needed to install fuel tank pressure sensor because it would act up from time to time.

The square u-bolts weren't long enough and the cutout on the saddles were for a 10-bolt, so I made it work. 1 down...

Beer time, listening to the Scanner page as riots/looting/carjackings are happening around me.

Caltracs installed, fuel tank pressure sensor reinstalled as well. Can't wait to really get on this thing. I've get to get a solid rip in it, Bob has me safe as hell right now. I go back to him end of next week to get the interchiller installed and tune finished on 93. Then I'll tune on e85.

This weekend I'll fab up my 5" intake setup. Hope it turns out as good as I think it will in my head [emoji1787]

Welp, went to work this weekend and fabbed up my 5" intake. Welds look like shit, no pro and welding aluminum as it's been 10 years. I'll probably dress it up and pant it black for now.

Sorry no overhead view. Still have a few things to touch up. Dropping the truck off at Bob's friday. Cant wait to rip on this fucker without issues...

Still haven't seen a full pull at 100%

99% sure that’s insulation, though it dosen’t look nice, that’s the coolant side of a heat exchanger for a killer chiller if I’m not mistaken
Correct, insulation.
I think I saw you on Schmale today. That thing is a straight sleeper!
Unless it was Bob at NextGen out in it, it wasn't me unfortunately [emoji17]

But it is definitely setup to be a sleeper.
So you got that killer chiller on yet?
Soooo, mixed news... the interchiller is on and is working. But not sure to it's full potential. Was told coolant was at a brisk 41° on the 92° day thursday. Technically it should be colder and lines frosted over. But anyway, the issue currently is that my IATs are still reading temps in the 170+ range which really makes NO sense at this time. Bob thought plugged brick, but tested out fine now. Could be the LT4/LT5 map sensor/wiring. I'm hoping it's stupid easy. I need the truck back bad. Baby time is nearing SOON.

But here are some pics. If this thing gets its bugs worked out it should be a beast. [emoji1696]

Soooo, update. Got the truck back, and STILL has bugs [emoji17]

Current situation, engine coolant temps are still over 200 with my 160 Tstat in. Been peaking around 225 lately, which I'm not liking.

Also, IATs are still not in check. Not sure if it's a calculated reading and not actual. Bugging me. They are low at idle hood up. Close the hood it jumps, then drive 20 minutes and it spikes crazy 150+ still.

Ordered a smaller pusher fan for the Interchiller condenser asteroid one provided was too big. Also ordered another 160 tstat in case this one is sticking. Otherwise there is a mod I'll try.

This thing should be ICE cold, its driving me nuts. I need all this in check to finish tuning this bitch

A pic of vitals, 35 minutes in on the drive home. Maybe 76-80° that day, no pulls all highway cruisingView attachment 62972
You have an iat sensor in the lower intake correct? This truck have the regular iat sensor built into the maf like the other gm’s, makes no sense at cruising speed the blower shouldn’t heat anything up any more than when the truck was stock, especially running the killer chiller the hellcat guys get super low iat’s with them, the hottest I ever saw my mustang post blower temp was 35 over ambient temps when driving down the road

Yeah, exactly!! Makes ZERO fuckin sense. Like coolant is cold like 40-50°, but not freezing like it should which I'm trying to figure that out and get it under wraps. But even after driving fluid temps aren't bad.

Also to answer your question, yes TMAP sensor is in the rear of the blower
