Wife rolled it going around 15mph. Plastics got messed up and I need a new driver door frame. But, we managed to come out of the rollover without one scratch on us. Those harnesses kept us completely planted in the seat.

If I didn’t have the hi lift jack then that machine would have been left out there and we would have had to walk back to the truck 20 miles or gotten lucky and ran into someone. The wheels landed facing up hill, so that jack gave us a 3 foot head start to get under it and roll it back over.

I still can’t believe that happened, but we are safe and the machine got us back to the truck. I am going out to the garage today to start assessing the damage. Looks like mostly plastic damage which isn’t that big of a deal. I am Going to try and guilt my wife into a suspension rebuild and tune since she wrecked my toy. We shall see how that goes.

Women drivers...amirite?

I couldn’t bring myself to take pictures. I was so disappointed and pissed. Plus, we were literally in the middle of nowhere and I had to figure out how to flip over an 1800# machine uphill with my 120# wife. I still can’t believe we muscled it over. Thank god for that hi lift jack.

The guilt trip is working bit by bit. I got some 5pt harnesses for the back seats to make it look even and safe. Also ordered a clutch servicing tool that will allow me to take the clutches off, service them in general, and change the weights in the future when I upgrade the clutch on this thing for the increased power I am going to give it.

I just need to decide if I am going to upgrade the power this summer or the suspension. Not sure which I will want first. Power bump will give it another 50whp. Suspension will make it even more ridiculous than it already is.

I would like to look like that picture!

I should have some updates on the build in the next couple of weeks. I finally got around to dropping it off at the dealer for a cage and frame assessment to make sure things are still square. Shitty part is they can’t get to it until next week sometime because everyone is rolling their shit out here and they are behind.

I am not too sure what direction I am going next, but everything is fixed and back to normal. Frame is thankfully straight and unharmed, door frame fixed, all fluids changed and maintenance done. I have been riding a decent amount recently and enjoying every minute of it. This vehicle is very easy to work on, which is nice and made it easy to fix some stuff that broke during the rollover. Here are a couple quick picture from southern Colorado this weekend. 20180723_090245.jpg20180723_090157.jpg20180722_114200.jpg20180722_114218.jpg

I still have some plans to do suspension mods and maybe wheel/tires this year, but we will see on that. I did pick up a cooler for this thing though. I was tired of bringing small soft coolers and strapping them in the back seat. It really didn't work well when I had passengers back there as well.

This thing is 8gal, and secures to the back deck via CanAm's linq system which is pretty slick and secure. It is supposed to be a fairly high quality cooler similar to the pelicans and yeti. I will have a chance to try it out mid next week. 20190315_145801.jpeg20190315_154012.jpeg20190315_154057.jpeg20190315_154108.jpeg20190315_154118.jpeg20190315_154128.jpeg

SleeperLS you cats wear helmets when you're ripping this thing?

We definitely do. I wear my car racing helmet and my wife has a moto style. I prefer the full face with the flip up shield. It keeps more dust out IMO. The cage does a good job of protecting its passengers, but if we rolled or drove into trees/rocks then I want my head protected from projectiles.

....wait, I see the avatar and this post.... Is SleeperLS really a cat?!

Meow you know.

You are doing it right my man! Jealous of the area you are living in that allows you to do this!
