A little high, but not outrageous. These are old enough now that they don't have to be anything but what they are. Any self respecting minivan can outrun one of these now, but in its day this car could embarrass an unsuspecting Camaro or Mustang.

Early SHO enthusiasts are funny folks. I'm a Gen 3 guy - V8 SHO's only. Couldn't care less about the V6 cars but I hang around SHOFORUM quite a bit and rub elbows with folks who care as much about the V6 cars as I do the V8's.

As I understand the Gen 2 SHO's for desirability, a stick is high praise and blue cars (2 different blues if I recall) are most sought after, so more points. Plus unmolested.

I'd say yeah. I could see someone shelling out the money and have no regrets.

For reference, I have a Gen 3 in the most rare color Rosemist (Ford documents say 1 of 58 ever made) with about 85k on it. Won Best of SHOw, popular vote, at the Memphis SHO convention. $12,000 is about as low as I would part with it for.

As previous owner of MIDWESTSHO, Mike K would possibly have another viewpoint on this car I hadn't considered. But fuck - when a goddam pickup truck can top out over $100k, $12k for a nice old toy is nothing.
