NEW RIDE She did it of her own Accord

General Information

Bye Ford, hello Honda.

2022 Accord Touring 2.0T in Sonic Grey Pearl

1 less turbo in the garage, but 5-12 more MPG and a few hundo less per month. Win/win

Was fun watching them do showroom floor Tetris with the cars getting it out.

What supporting mods do you need to run that?
I am completely stock besides that. You can do bolt ons and run it too. Just have to run 93, nothing less. Eco becomes stock boost with eco shift points and reduced turbo lag. Normal is 6psi more boost with normal shift points, reduced turbo lag. Sport is all out with sport shift points. Sport with paddle is what you want as it doesn't shift early.

7500 miles down, first oil change was done today and tires rotated at the local Honda dealer. Past due for a clean up, was going to do it this past weekend but time ran out and the rain in the forecast but a damper on that, but I'll get to it one day this week or weekend most likely.
Sticking with factory maintenance schedules? I'd probably do every 5K IMO.

I do 5k on the GTI. The Accord has a Maintenance display on the dash, the service advisors suggested 20-30% oil life. It was down to 20% when she took it in this morning. She's back to commuting 5 days in the office, so the mileage will add up quickly.

I get it. I'm a proactive maintenance above and beyond type. But I'm sure the Honda will be fine, those things last with people doing zero maintenance.
