Yup, it's cheap maintenance IMO to do at 5k, even with fully synthetic.

I have a maintenance plan on the GTI, I think I have 2 more "Free" oil changes, then I'll probably get an extractor and do it myself.

Get the FCP Euro kit, then your next oil change is free, minus shipping your old stuff back.

Took about 1/4 gallon of fluid when we got home.

Also, on black friday I picked up a Chrome window and grill delete kit form Crux Motorsports for the Accord.

I'm waiting for warmer weather to apply, as vinyl doesn't like cold weather and I don't want to sit in a cold garage for 2 hours installing this stuff.

Finally installed the chrome window delete kit I bought back on Black Friday. Was kind of a pain, but worth it. It’s not perfect, but it’s good enough. Now to do the grill one of these days, if I feel like it I might do it in a bit when it cools down.

Less shiny chrome. Too much chrome from the factory! Subtle changes to make it look slightly more aggressive, for an Accord.

Since air filters were on my mind, I asked her if the dealer ever changed hers and they hadn’t. She’s currently not driving due to medical reasons, so we’re splitting time between the cars with me driving. Grabbed a fresh filter this morning. 18 or 19k worth of dirt in the stock filter.

And I forgot to mention I bought a blackout vinyl kit on or around 4th of July before her medical issues started. It’s to get rid of the chrome under the doors, still have to install that one of these days.
