The store charge a premium anyway.

If you print your own label off the shippers site, it's significantly cheaper.

:werd:

Shipping has been stupid expensive through UPS/USPS/FedEx right now.
Right... Needed some new liftgate struts for the Sub. Went to Rock Auto (just easy to do on a Sunday evening and you know they'll be in your hands by Wednesday...)

Go to checkout, it was like $10 fucking dollars for ground shipping... By that time, might as well have just gone to Advance/AZ/Napa and paid full price. it would've been the same. But I want my damn magnet to add to my collection.

OHHHH youre not doing the packing and shipping yourself... Well that's where you save bucks.

I've got a whole table in my basement with a scale and tape and used Amazon and target boxes... Saves the dollars.

I don't sell stuff and ship enough to care. But didn't know it was cheaper if you print your own label. I honestly wanted someone else to pack it so that when it was broken they couldn't blame me.

ahh good idea she should open up a UPS claim.

i don't have that
I price compared all of the shipping companies for ground shipping from here to NJ for Mook Mook CAI I bought and sold again. UPS was the cheapest at $48, USPS wanted $68, and FedEx wanted $89. The box was 7lbs and dimensions: 22 in x 21 in x 12 in

I didn't use a store, entered my shit online and would print a label.

Well I got paid... But fuck eBay. This was a real bullshit experience. I got hit with pretty high sellers fees and I am really pissed off that as a seller I have zero rights. I sold something brand new, my listing said no returns, yet the buyer was able to open up a request for a return and eBay hold my funds untill its resolved? Guess im lucky the buyer didnt respond again. Maybe she was able to open up a UPS claim or got the manufacture to replace the snowmobile. I am still not 100% sure eBay isnt going to take funds from me as they won't let me remove my bank account and it can take up to 14 days to close my account. Also hate that you are taxed on eBay. Most of the time sellers already paid tax on the product and the buyer has to pay it again. Bullshit.

22 years and ~160 items sold.

eBay comes with some shitty situations. But I think it just comes with the largest market for certain items. And in the end you get top dollar for it compared to selling on FB in my opinion. Like a 100 dollar item on FB, I list for $150 on ebay...

Similar to what you do when you're selling something to an Indian.

eBay is only good for super SUPER high volume sellers of rubber dogshit or super high value items (multiple thousands of dollars).

Your everyday mom and dad selling your Pokemon cards, action figures, and little trinkets? eBay is absolute dogshit.
