Apologies if there is a thread already & I couldn't find it in search.

I got into this show over Covid & I think its probably the best 'military' show within the last 10-15 yrs.
Shooting/stories are pretty accurate, the employ a bunch of SOC guys to help with skills/realism, and lots of action.

Downside is that you have to get past David Boreanaz being a DevGru guy (if you grew up with him in Buffy...)


Seasons 1-6 are out/on ParamountTV & Prime, and Season 7 was just released last week.

This has been a great show which got even better when Paramount took over. Letting them really delve into mental health issues that CBS wouldn't let them run with. Sad it's the last season, but I've only watched the first two episodes and it was decent. Little cheesy, but solid thus far.

Started this up tonight. got thru the first 4 episodes. I forgot this show came out at the tail end of when tv shows were still tv shows, w/ 20+ episode seasons Season 1 alone would like be 3 seasons in todays tv. And they'd all be spread 2+ years apart. we need to go back.

nostalgic rant aside, I'm enjoying what I'm seeing so far. And it's scratching my Ready or Not itch while I'm not playing that game right now

But damn this is gonna take me awhile.

I'm about to finish season 1 tonight with episode 22.

So far, they have 7 seasons with 114 episodes.

Season 1 and 2 are 22 episodes and then they dwindle from there until season 6 and 7 which are only 10 episodes, just like every other TV show.

Show is great so far. Let's hope they can keep it up.

just finished up ep 11. Which is exactly halfway thru season 1 I said this would take awhile. But I am enjoying this show, and am not stopping, however long it takes me. Its kinda nice to just have in my back pocket for something I can throw on when I cant think of anything else to watch.

Haven't touched the show in awhile so I dug in tonight and watched eps 13-18. of season 1 still I was only planning on watching like 4 eps tonight, but that storyline of the one seal team getting wiped out, and then them going in to get the people responsible, it legitimately sucked me in. I just kept saying one more episode........one more episode.

There are still 4 episodes remaining in season 1

Maybe tomorrow.

And finally finished up the last 4 eps of season 1. Gotta say the back half of this season was really quite awesome.

Aaaannnnd season 2 is another 22 episodes

couldn't decide what to watch last night, so I finally started up season 2 and watched the first 3 episodes. Jesus christ they are not fucking around this season

killing off Jasons wife right off the bat??? I was not prepared for such things. Just wanted some light, entertaining episodes of something to watch last night. But NOPE. Cant wait to see where this all goes tho.

There are some drama episodes sometimes, but overall it's great.

I'm a bit under the weather so I dont have the energy or attention span to focus on anything new that I actually need to pay attention to, so I knocked out a bunch of episodes tonight. Just finished ep 10 in season 2. Finally done with this mexican cartel storyline. It was kinda meh but the last few episodes were pretty good. That church standoff was freaking intense.
