Tightened up my wastegate spring as tight as I can make it without threading more of the rod. It helped some. Pre turbo egt’s hit 910 for a max with romping on it for an extended period of time.

Just block the waste gate altogether. Weld it shut, take off pressure line, etc. You don't need it

I know what a wastegate does. Under load it wasn’t holding boost and bleeding off quickly. Now it holds it......

As it was getting closer to redline the boost would start to bleed off and come down and then it would shift. Any turbo car I’ve had has done the same thing. Show me a turbo vehicle that holds boost 100% to redline and doesn’t move.

Well. Yea, once the engine drops rpm you lose backpressure so turbo slows down..... Unless you're on vgt and they can keep the turbos spooled

Vgt trucks can hold boost within 1-2 psi while shifting.
