Yo! What's going on? :headbang:
So I really need to start thinking about getting some new rotors and brake pads before the summer gets here. I was looking under ebay and found these rotors http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...7951286542&rd=1 I don't have much to $pend on this upgrade but I still will like good enough quality. I was thinking I would get some Raybestos quiet stop brake pads for the front at least. But Should I upgrade to 12'' rotors?

Fredo! You have some Impala 12'' rotors right? what did you have to do to make them fit? Any extra parts you needed? And did you get all four of the 12''?

If anyone has any other/better ideas for a cheap and efficient brake upgrade let me know. Looking to spend about $300 tops.

Thanks.

You may want to avoid these. The reason you find so many this cheap on Ebay is that they use imported rotors. The imports don't wear as well because of the use of cheaper metals. These companies just buy the cheapest blanks they can find, set them up for a CNC, and plate 'em. The plating wears off instantly on the contact surfaces.
There are plenty of Ebay sources that use name brand rotors at a signifigant discount, and really is the better way to go. I got a set of 4 Brembo rotors for pretty cheap, I'll look for the link...

Thanks for the input. So you would recommend buying from wholesaledirectparts?

I'm only seeing packages not just the rotors.

I had an OK experience with them. Looks like they raised pricing, and may not offer the "brand" stuff anymore. I did get the product as advertised, but it took about a month from time of order to my door. I would look around on Ebay for several weeks, these vendors tend to do blowouts from time to time.

R1Concepts

That's their WebSite, but I couldn't find any sales for this week on ebay. Give them a week. I just saw some last week for a Prix. I was extremely satisfied with them. The only thing is all rotors rust mine are just rusting a tad bit after over a year. The price is $139.99-159.99 + shipping of $30. Check out there website. The only thing is that they dont have any Pontiacs listed on there. I see if a I could find a pic of my rotors. :D

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=2436843067
thats 12in front and stock rear.

And for the bracket you can find it either at a junk yard from an 00 impala or a 98 intrigue.
I got mine from here..
http://www.gmpartsdirect.com part# 12498646

and also i have the f-body calipers so i have good stopping power just need to bleed the brake fluid one of these days. ;)

I painted the hub because past rotors they would rust so you can paint them so they wont either. This is what they look like.
