Welcome fellow VW brethren. What springs do you have that are jarring? I have the VWR’s on my GTI and really don’t mind them. If i were to do it over I would probably have gotten some Bilstein coils instead, but they aren’t unlivable. As I white knuckle dodge ice chunks in the road this time of year I briefly consider bags on a future car as well.

Welcome! Glad you decided to sign up and not be a lurker ?

Do you do any racing? More of a cruiser and car meets?
Currently a couch potato that sits 6 days a week. I want get into HPDE, just have to convince my cheap ass that replacing brake pads and fluid 3-4x a year is okay. Also plan to try my hand at drag racing. Will probably grab a Dragy at some point too ?

I have the Neuspeed sport springs. They are great if you live somewhere that has Florida type roads. Not so great in Illinois. I did more research and found out these springs have the stiffest spring rates out of all of the options for the platform ?‍♂️ I’ve read that the springs for GTIs are much better though. I’ll be switching to coilovers soon
