I always assumed performance shift only affected the trans settings in PCMs. I have asked before and no one has given me a straight yes or no answer.

I was driving to work with PS off and wanted to see how much boost I could hit with the cooler weather. (hit 9.5 the other day when it was 89ish and 70% humidity) Go WOT and only saw 7.5 PSI at redline. Odd. So for shits and giggles I turn PS on and drop back down to the same speed and nail it again. 9.6 PSI at redline. The owner before that had it tuned said he only bumped the shift points 300 or so RPMs higher in PS mode so I wouldnt think the car would build 2 solid more PSI of boost. Or will it??

What RPMs? Seems like a hefty spike for only 300rpm, however it is possible. Seems like there is other variables in there.

I want to say with PS off it shifts at 5600 and with PS on its between 5900 and 6000. I want to take the car out this week and scan it for some definate numbers.
