OP:
After stressing over what to buy for the last few weeks I’ve finally made a decision and I’m happy with it.

Picked up a 2018 GTI SE w/ DSG & leather interior. Was the last 2018 GTI sitting on the lot at Emich VW in Denver and was heavily discounted.

What are the supporting mods people are using with this? DP, IC and that’s it? What about fuel pumps or other stuff like that?
Just intercooler and CAI/turbo inlet for the GTI. Tune is intended for stock downpipe.

Golf R has options for HPFP/LPFP and those plus MPI for more power on pump or E85.

good to know. so between the turbo, TCU, IC and install figure what, 4k for everything? $1500 for the turbo/ECU. $500 for TCU (DSG) and the IC is another what, $800?

More than I was thinking but not unheard of for that amount of power.

I think this might jump up to the top of my next upgrade list. I’ve always thought the sound system on this car was shit, especially coming from the SVT Focus w/ factory sub.
